Info: Charles-Valentin Alkan's "Barcarolle" is the 6th piece from his "Troisième Recueil de Chants" Op. 65 and was composed in the year of 1864. Despite how famous Alkan is for his extreme virtuosity, this piece is rather calm and peaceful.
